In 1984 My Father in the Lord Pastor Powell Lemons from Bethel, Fresno started missionary work in the Philippines. Bethel Fresno was founded by someone who had just returned to Fresno from Azusa Street. Powell worked in the Philippines with a man, Romy Corpus, whose family had been saved from the testimony of one family member saved at Azusa Street. Romy used to help A.A. Allen when he ministered in the Philippines. Romy would sleep on the stage to guard the equipment at night and picked up a great anointing for healing and evangelism.
Today, the ministry is very active and has ministered to close to two million souls. Some nights most in the crowd come forward to give their hearts to Jesus. In addition, we see an amazing number of supernatural healings such as blind eyes opened, deaf and mute hearing and speaking, the crippled walking, and inumberable other miracles. In addition the ministry has started hundreds of churches and thousands of Bible studies.
In 1999 Jonathan Morris started going on these mission trips. He is now president of Church Multiplication Coalition and working on bringing the ministry to the nations. CMC is now in Mynmar, Ethiopia, Haiti, Peru, and other nations. You can watch a video below that gives you an idea of what's going on today with CMC.
