Reno Outpouring
The Reno Outpouring is a celebration of God's love for the Reno Tahoe region. For decades now there has been a sense that God would bring revival [an Outpouring of His Spirit] to this region from the stages of the casinos. The results of this outpouring of His Spirit will be a significant increase in the percentage of Christians in the region which will change the cultural values of the region. We believe that this will happen as we join together in this apostolic assignment. We invite you to be a part of this great vision for our region by joining us at the next outpouring meeting.

Mario Murillo has been our hero ever since Bible College. When Mario came to our area he would fill the largest arenas with people hungry for the power of God. Mario was instrumental in turning the first church that God supernaturally lead me to into a river church back in the 1970's! Although, Mario is known for his evangelism he has an incredible healing ministry as well calling out specific people and problems for healing in each service. Mario is still very active in the ministry travelling to bring the power of God into the lives of individuals. Mario ministers at Bill Johnson's church Bethel Redding.
Mario was supernaturally healed on Friday March 13th so he could be here to minister on Saturday and Sunday. It was an historic night as he returned to Reno as he said he would in 2005 when River Rock is established here. His apostolic anointing and powerful preaching have moved us ever forward towards our goal of seeing this region transformed by the power of Jesus! Mario has told me he wants to return again!

Stephen Strader Pastor of Ignited Church in Lakeland Florida where the Florida Outpouring was held with Todd Bentley was our guest in January. You probably saw Stephen every night on God TV when you watched the Outpouring. Pastor Stradder has reported to me the Outpouring is firing back up in Florida and we are planning on Stephen bringing a big dose of the anointing when he comes. This is a God appointment for you and for the region.
Stephen's visit was a God ordained appointment starting off the 2009 Outpouring year with an apostolic visitation and impartation. Eight is the number of new beginnings and nine is the number of maturity. Having an apostolic leader like Stephen minister was the start of a maturing process for the Reno Outpouring.
"May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope through the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13

Outpouring:
"Is it just about the healing?"
For those of you who been to recent Outpouring meetings there could be no doubt that God is up to something big in our region. The question is what? In our Wednesday night healing class we are learning that Jesus kept His eyes open to the needs of the people around Him and often met their needs in miraculous ways. As followers of Christ we are to do what He did.
Jesus also came to bring God's Kingdom to this earth. That is also a mandate for us. The question is how? In the sermon on the mount we read the words of Jesus instructing us to pray like this:
"Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven."
Matthew 6:10
As I read the Gospel accounts of Christ I see Him doing miraculous signs and wonders which point to His Divinity, His Father in Heaven, and His mission on this earth. When I see miracles here on earth I want to know why God is doing them.
It is my belief that God is pouring out His Spirit (Outpouring) on our region at this time becuase He wants to see a major change. I am not sure what to call this change but some names that come to mind our renewal, revival, outouring, and transformation. George Otis Jr of The Sentinel Group has spent years documenting some of the over 177 places on this earth where sovereign moves of God have taken place. These moves of God are marked by powerful Christian conversions of 70% or more of the population.
I believe that God not only wants to do that in this region well known as the region with the lowest church attendance in the United States. What a powerful testimony this would be to the world. Since 2004 there have been open heavens over our region but in late April something happened again leading to these miraculous meetings. We are calling it an Outpouring.
If your heart is stirred by the possibility of being a part of something so much bigger than one person or one church then I urge you to prayerfully consider your part in this wonderful opportunity that God is offering us in this region. When God lifted the veil from your eyes and showed you the possibility of of a new life in Christ you took some action to respond to that call. Maybe you came forward in an altar call or you spoke some words asking for forgiveness and committing to serve the Lord all the days of your life. When you did this something powerful happened and God got rid of the old man and put a new spirit in you.
Today each one of us has the opportunity to be a part of a great move of God. The Sentinel Group in their video "The Quickening" notes that the number one precursor to revival in a region is the pastors coming together. It does not have to be all the pastors, just a critical mass. I don't know how many that is but I encourage you to let your pastor know what is going on.
Are you ready to be a part of something powerful in this region? Do you long to see a sovereign move of God right here? I know I do. When I had the opportunity to say yes to God I did! If you are ready to say yes to God and be a part of what we are doing you need to let God know. Then, if you would, please let me know that you will stand with me in seeing God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

| Two Nights of Miracles |

Miracle Healings
Each outpouring event seems to have its own personality and high points. For me the meetings on August 15th and 16th were about miracle healings. Now healings are a central part of what God is doing but these two nights just seemd to have so many great testimonies from neuromuscular diseases (multiple scleroisis), to knees that were locked from birth coming free, to back pain, to ribs, and on and on. We will have video up at http://outpouring.tv/ as soon as possible for you to watch.
In addition, the Lord had a wonderful word for us about this healing only being an initial physical manifistation of this outpouring. God has given the body of Christ in this region a window of time to join together to see revival come to this region. I spoke about the Transformation Videos (transformnations.org) and how the the primary precursor to revival is the pastors coming together in a region to see the Kingdom of God built up. It does not have to be a majority of the pastors but simply a critical mass. We have had a dozen or more pastors at each meeting and now have six local churches working together on this and we hope to add yours soon. Please let your pastor know that you want to see revival come to the Reno/Tahoe region and have him call me.
We ended Friday night with all the pastors in the room on stage leading us in a commitment to see God's will done in our region and ordaining all those in attendance with this apostolic mission.
