The Battle to Remain Grateful

A remembrance

I don’t know much in my 58 years of living in the “Land of the Living” but, one thing I do know is this: God is really good, He’s super nice and, He’s the best friend you’ll ever want to have.

I’m so grateful to God for blessing me with friends that have stuck with me through times of persecution and betrayal, for my family who loves me in spite of my weaknesses and idiosyncrasies, for my ministry partners around the world who put their trust in me on behalf of references and past relationships and for supernatural protection, provision and promise to accomplish the destiny in my life.

Although the reasons to become cynical, angry and bitter towards all the injustice in life is great, I choose to remain grateful towards God who loves me and the mankind He has created;  wishing that none should perish, spoil or be void of life even when we take our last breath.

I’m grateful to Jesus Christ for coming to the earth to represent the Love of God and take the punishment for my rebellion against God. To know Him is to love Him. To serve Him is to experience Him. To trust Him is to live with Him forever, even when I leave this earth.

My challenge to you today is to cry out to Jesus Christ. Receive His love and forgiveness and, ask Him into your life and be united back with your creator! Be grateful today. Keep a gratefulness journal. Live the definition that Webster gives; acknowledge that you’ve received something good from another.

Fruit of the Spirit: LOVE, JOY, PEACE

Remember to breathe and on the exhale give God all the Glory!
